HCI pump down units are extremely flexible and can be utilized to perform additional hole services (i.e. stimulation / acidizing, nitrogen, and general pumping) besides cementing, which require specialized pumps.
The company's pump down services are currently performed solely in the Haynesville Shale (for horizontal wells) to pump down equipment such as plugs (to prepare zones for further fracturing), testing trees and valves (to monitor well bore conditions during drilling and production).
HCI is expanding its current fleet of pump down equipment to access locations with limited space (Marcellus Shale) and to grow into new market opportunities (i.e. low horsepower frac jobs) in the Haynesville Shale.
